Courses

Sand Valley

Sand Valley at Sand Valley Golf Resort is a course where the spirit of the game harmonizes with the natural beauty of Wisconsin's rolling dunes. Designed by the revered team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Sand Valley is a tapestry of challenges, camaraderie, and awe-inspiring landscapes From the first tee shot to the final putt, Sand Valley unfolds like a captivating story written on the canvas of sandy fairways and sprawling greens. Coore and Crenshaw's design genius is evident in the strategic placement of bunkers and the greens that invite both skill and intuition. Sand Valley is not just a golf destination, it's a retreat into the heart of Wisconsin's wilderness, where the love for the game is intertwined with the beauty of the land.

The Lido

The Lido is nestled within the breathtaking Sand Valley landscape. Crafted by the renowned team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, beckons golf enthusiasts with its unique character and captivating layout.

From the moment you step onto the first tee, the Lido reveals itself as a playground of creativity and strategic design. As you navigate the Lido's holes, you'll find yourself enchanted by the natural beauty that surrounds you, rolling dunes, native vegetation, and the sense of tranquility that comes with being immersed in nature.

Mammoth Dunes

Mammoth Dunes is a spectacular golf course known for its expansive and visually striking layout. Designed by renowned architect David McLay Kidd, the course is part of the Sand Valley Golf Resort in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Mammoth Dunes offers a unique and challenging experience, with undulating fairways, massive bunkers, and large, strategically placed greens.

Sedge Valley

Sand Valley’s newest course may have the oldest soul of the bunch. This Tom Doak design draws on the great heathland and links courses of London and the English coast.

A round at Sedge Valley promises a delightful contrast to the expansive links terrain of Coore & Crenshaw's Sand Valley and the grand scale with friendly contours offered by the resort's second 18-hole gem, David McLay Kidd's Mammoth Dunes.

The Sandbox

The Sandbox, the 17-hole short course at Sand Valley, provides an intimate connection to the sand county landscape of central Wisconsin. Located 50 yards from the Clubhouse and in the backyard of the lodges, The Sandbox plays through a restored sand prairie that sits within the same V-shaped sand ridge that frames Mammoth Dunes.

With holes ranging from 40 to 140 yards, the short course features unique green complexes found on the property, including a biarritz, double plateau, lion’s mouth, and a redan.
