NewClub Officially Launches Northeast Ohio Chapter

Cleveland, Ohio — June 1, 2026 — NewClub, the modern golf society built around community, competition, travel, and a deeper connection to the game, is proud to announce the official launch of its newest local Chapter: NewClub Northeast Ohio.
The Chapter marks NewClub’s third local market, following Chicago and Atlanta, and its second in the Midwest. What began in Chicago with a small group of golfers who believed the game could be experienced in a more communal, accessible, and meaningful way has grown into a true membership club of passionate golfers connected by shared values and a love for the traditions and possibilities of the game.
“Northeast Ohio is a remarkable place for golf,” said Matt Considine, Chairman & Founder of NewClub. “The region has history, character, architectural variety, passionate golfers, and a deep appreciation for the game. We believe there is a real opportunity here to bring people together in a way that feels both timeless and needed.”
The new Chapter will serve golfers across the broader Northeast Ohio region, including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and surrounding communities. While Cleveland was a natural starting point, NewClub’s early member relationships and the strength of the region’s golf culture made it clear that the Chapter should reflect the full geography and spirit of Northeast Ohio.
NewClub Northeast Ohio will offer members access to organized golf, weekday and weekend games, competitions, trips, and community gatherings.
“We are proud to officially launch NewClub Northeast Ohio today on June 1 with a Founding membership that closely mirrors the early groups in Chicago and Atlanta,” said Considine. “Many have yet to meet each other, and I’m excited for those connections to finally form in the coming months. Nothing gives me more confidence in NewClub and our mission than seeing those connections form.”
The launch comes at a time when American golf is experiencing a renewed energy and boom of new golfers post-pandemic, but also a growing need for alternative reliable club options beyond traditional private country club structures and existing publicly available transactional access models.
