The problem isn't finding golf. It's everything around it.
Most good golfers we meet are stuck in one of two places.
Either you're playing the same two or three public tracks, fighting for 6:20am tee times, texting four guys on Wednesday to see who can make Saturday, and watching the good courses go by from the road.
Or you're looking at a private club, doing the math on a $50,000 initiation plus $700 a month, and quietly wondering whether you'd use the pool, the tennis courts, and the dining minimum enough to justify any of it.
There's a third option. It's the reason we built this.
What a club actually gives you
Strip away the real estate and the amenities nobody asked for, and a private club sells you three things. We deliver all three, and we're better at two of them.
Great courses
A club gives you one. We give you a rotating slate of 20+ private clubs in your market, plus standing tee times at the best public golf around. You'll play more good courses in a season with us than a club member plays in a decade.
A game
This is the one people underrate until they don't have it. Tee times are already held and posted weeks out. You claim a seat in the app and show up. No group text, no scrambling, no playing as a single behind a foursome that won't let you through.
People worth playing with
347 members and counting, across Chicago, Atlanta, and Northeast Ohio. Monthly medals, member-guests, match play, trips. A handicap that means something because everybody posts. This is the part that turns golf from a hobby into a season.
The season, by the numbers
Not projections. This is what actually happened.
Our members have booked roughly 3,900 rounds through the club and posted more than 1,500 scorecards. There are 7,400 messages in the member chat, which is the number we're quietly proudest of, because it means people are organizing their own golf with each other.
What it costs, plainly
$1,650 for the year, or $150 a month with a one-time $250 initiation. No minimum spend, no food and beverage minimum, no assessments. You pay for the rounds you actually play: $125–$175 at private clubs on guest rates, which is the lowest rate those clubs offer anybody, and $50–$100 public.

Play 25 rounds with us, half of them private, and you're all-in around $4,000 to $5,000 for the year. At a private club you'd pass that in dues alone, before the initiation check is ever written — and you'd have played one course.

What a season looks like
Every week
Private club tee times on weekdays and standing weekend times at strong public courses, posted two to three weeks out and bookable in the app.
Every month
The Monthly Medal — 18 holes, net and gross. It's the fastest way to meet forty people at once, and new members should absolutely not wait a year to play in one.
Through the season
The Stinger (our member-guest), The Rumble, match play, and the Club Championship. Plus the games members run themselves: Friday skins, Tuesday matches, two-person stableford.
A few times a year
Trips. We've taken members to Scotland and Sweetens Cove. Bring a buddy or come alone and leave with a foursome.
Anywhere you go
Your membership travels. Chicago member in Atlanta for a week? You're playing in Atlanta. No extra fee, no second membership.
Who this is for, and who it isn't
We'd rather be straight with you now than take your money and have you regret it in March.
You'll love it if…
- You want to play a lot of different great courses instead of memorizing one.
- You don't have a regular group, or your group has gotten hard to organize.
- You've priced out a club and couldn't justify the amenities you'd never use.
- You want competitive golf with a real handicap, not just a Saturday loop.
- You travel between our markets and want golf in each.
You probably shouldn't join if…
- You want a locker, a grill room, and the same twelve guys every Saturday. That's a club, and a club is the right answer for you.
- You play 100+ rounds a year at one place. The math flips, and you should join that place.
- You need a guaranteed standing tee time at a specific course on a specific day. We're a rotating slate, not a prepaid tee sheet.
- You want the family package. We're a golf society. Pool and tennis aren't part of this.
Am I good enough?
We get asked this more than anything except price, so here's the honest answer from our own roster: the average NewClub index is about a 9, and our members range from plus-handicaps to the high 20s. There is no handicap requirement to join.
The golfer who went from a 30 to a 15 in a year is exactly the kind of person we want out there.
Your USGA handicap comes with the membership, so if you don't have one yet, you will.
